About SIPES:
SIPES is an organization of earth scientists composed of consultants and independents certified by the SIPES governing body as to professional competence and observance of professional and business ethics.
Membership is open to all qualified professional scientists and engineers dealing with the physical character and natural history of the earth or with the exploration or exploitation of the earth's natural resources.
National SIPES Chapters:
SIPES has a network of 12 active local chapters in Denver, Colorado; Lafayette and New Orleans, Louisiana; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Wichita, Kansas; and Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston, Midland, and San Antonio, Texas.
Monthly Luncheons:
SIPES Chapters hold monthly luncheon meetings where ideas are exchanged and timely speakers are heard. Many chapters also schedule special seminars, evening programs and other events during the year. To view the Midland Chapter luncheon calendar click here.
